This spectacular ring reminds me of the ocean. I love the idea of having it look like it is jutting out of the band - giving it a strong and gender neutral look. An alternative wedding ring.
It is a wonderful Asscher cut unheated aquamarine 9.5mmx 8.74mm (a little over 2ct)
It is set in yellow gold and mounted onto a silver matte finish thick band. The contrasting colors allow the blue to stand out. As both gold and silver are neutral colors, they do well in complimenting each other as well as the colored gemstone.
Using mixed metals in pieces give them a more iconic look and are a lot easier to pair with all types of jewelry.
