I designed Raya in my studio in Taiwan. It is an ever popular design and I was focusing on the organic, fluid and circular movement (appearance in this case) of metal. Studying the curls of a blooming Dahlia and how I could rearrange them into a more minimal and artistic style. I experimented with the metal and how the natural hardness of the metal would curve and fit together. It was a beautiful and soothing process.
Each earring is entirely designed and slowly handcrafted by Anica Lin.
